DCUO - Statistics

This is a list of all the visible statistics for a character. Statistics determine how a character will do in a battle against another character and are increased by gaining levels or spending skill points on specific abilities.

Health

The amount of damage a player can take in a battle.

Power

The amount of abililties a player can use in battle.

Defense

Defense reduces damage from non-player characters (NPC). The higher your level, the more defense is required. Damage reduction by 1% = 15 Defense (Level 1) and 71 Defense (Level 30).

Toughness

Toughness reduces damage from player characters; the higher your level, the more defense is required. Damage reduction by 1% = 15 Defense (Level 1) and 71 Defense (Level 30).

Might

Might increases the amount of damage that a character's powers can inflict. Each 4 points in Might increase base damage by 1%.

Precision

Precision increases the amount of damage that a character's weapon attacks can inflict. Each 10 points in Precision increase base damage per second by 1.

Restoration

Restoration increases the amount of Health restored by powers and Health regeneration while out of combat. Each 4 points in Restoration increase base healing by 1%.

Vitalization

Vitalization increases the amount of Power restored by controller abilities and your passive Power regeneration while out of combat. Each 10 points in Vitalization increases power restored by 1%.

Dominance

Dominance increases the number of health points lost by a target before a Control effect ends. Each 2 point in Dominance increases the additional damage before control breaks by 1.

Combat Rating

Measures your combat effectiveness based upon the best equipment in your possession.

DCUO - Currency

In Dcuo you have multiple forms of  currency;

Cash
Cash is earned by completing missions and is sometimes droppped by NPC's. You use cash to buy items from the vendors. You can also use it for the trait reset.


Escrow
Escrow is cash that exceeds your current access level status. You can withdraw cash from the marketplace.
Free access = $1,500
Premium access = $2,000
Legendary access to all the currency you have.

Influence
You get influence points from doing PVP (arena and legends). You get 50 influence points for winning a match and 25 if you loose. During a match; killing or assisting gives you 1 influence point.

DCUO - Character Creation

The first thing you have to do after the intro movie is the character creation. Every player has to create his own character to play the game. You can make up to 2 characters with a free account and 16 characters with a legendary account.

A player must choose a gender


"Inspired by"
If you don't want the hassle of creating your own character you can also choose a custom character. These characters are inspired by the iconic heroes and villians of the DC universe.


Powerset
Each character can only have one power. Your powers will determine your role. There are 4 roles. So each character will start as an DPS(damage per second) and will either become a Controller, Healer or Tank.


Movement modes
Your character can be a flyer, speedster or acrobat.


Weapon styles
Each is weapon is specialized in ranged or melee attacks and you will be able to switch between weapons.


Morality
The choice between being a hero or a villian.


Personalities
You can choose the way your characters interacts with the world.


Mentors
The heroes and villain are divided in 3 factions;

1. Meta  (Superpowers)
2. Tech   (Gadgets)
3. Magic. (Magics)

Each mentor belong to one of these factions. Superman belongs to meta , Batman to tech and Wonder Woman is magic . This will affect your main mission and the iconic armor you can obtain.


Costume
Here you equip your character with a costume. When you equip a costume item it will be added in the collection and you can always use it for the appearance, however to have the stats you have to have it in your inventory.

You can choose body and hair type


Name
The final step is to choose a name
